Hands Off Our Homes is happy to announce our fifth local meeting. This follows the success of our Seacroft, Armley and Middleton meetings as well as upcoming Little London meeting. If you live in Harehills, Gipton or nearby and are interested in how we can stop the Bedroom Tax, this meeting is for you (note: there will be a meeting in Chapletown the week after).
This meeting will be a little different as its is co-organised with Harehills Solidarity, a group of local residents concerned with working together to resist attacks on the community. However, like our previous meetings the aim will be give out some information on the bedroom tax and discuss how tenants in Harehills and their allies can build opposition to the bedroom tax and how to support those who cannot or do not wish to move. Together, we can defend our homes.
We need help promoting the meeting to get as many people down as possible. If you live in the area and are willing to lend a hand or know any people or organisations we should be getting in touch with, please get in drop us a line via the contact page.
